Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant Locums Job in New Jersey 12 Hour Shifts Beginning May 1 – December 31 Assignment

Coverage Details
12.5-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Nights and day shifts (approximately 60% nights, 40% days)
Night shifts are preferred
1-3 night shifts per week
No 24-hour shifts or reverse 24s
A provider may work a day shift followed by a next-day night shift

Requirements
Advanced Trauma Life Support
ACLS
PALS
New Jersey license
Up-to-date CDS and DEA
Trauma level experience
ICU experience preferred
Trauma or critical care experience; ED/critical care acceptable
Must be able to cover pediatrics and occasional OR

Required Procedures/Skills
Central line placement
Arterial line placement
Chest tube placement
Simple and intermediate wound repair

Assignment Details
Setting: Inpatient – Trauma Surgery
Patient load: 10-25
Facility Trauma Level: ACS Level 1, Peds and Adult
First assist not required (may be needed occasionally)
Bedside procedures preferred: ultrasound-guided central lines, ultrasound arterial lines, chest tubes, laceration repair, FAST
