Description:

We re currently seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for a locum tenens opportunity at a high-volume, well-established private practice in Fairfield, NJ, with occasional coverage at a nearby satellite location in East Rutherford.

Position Highlights:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Setting: Outpatient Private Practice

• Schedule: Monday Friday; no weekends or call

• Volume: adult/geriatric patients per day

• Team: 2 physicians on-site; no supervision required

• EMR: AthenaHealth

️ Key Procedures/Skills Required:

• General: EKG Interpretation

• Minor Procedures: I&D, Minor Laceration Suturing

• Occupational Health: Employment Physicals, Disability Exams, Diagnosis of Work-Related Conditions

Practice Perks:

• On-site Radiology & Lab

• Supportive clinical staff

• Travel limited to local area only (reimbursement for mileage only)

Requirements:

• Board Certified in FM or IM

• Active NJ License

• Horizon BCBS In-Network (Outpatient-specific) MUST include confirmation with submission

• BLS Certification

• Local candidates only

Preferred (Not Required):

• Recent outpatient experience in NJ

• Familiarity with AthenaHealth EMR

• Clean background for faster onboarding
