About the Role

Practice Setting: Inpatient / Hospital-based Dates of Coverage: ASAP Average Number of Patients Per Day: Operate on 2/day; round on 5 12 patients/day (ICU and floor); includes consults Schedule: Weekday, weekend, and night call coverage needed (varied shifts) Documentation System/EMR: Cerner Trauma Level/Designation: None Will You Accept Providers Needing to Obtain State License? No need help now

Schedule
-Weekday is Monday – Friday- 8 to10 hr days in-house
-Night call would start 6 pm – 6 am.
-Weekend call Friday at 6pm thru Mon 6am- call and rounding from 7am-12pm Saturday and Sunday

Required Procedures:

• Retrieval of Vascular Tissues for Use as a Bypass Conduit
• Endoscopic Retrieval
• Chest Tube Insertions
• First Assist in OR for Cardiac Surgery

Required Duties:

• Rounding
• Coordination of Care
• Assist in Surgery
• Diagnose and Treat Illnesses
• Order and Interpret Tests
• Write Prescriptions
• Suture Removal
