Englewood Health is seeking a board certified or board eligible Neonatologist to join its neonatal care team on a per diem basis. What your day will look like

• Provide clinical coverage for the NICU, newborn nursery, OR, etc.
• Manage and stabilize premature and critically ill newborns.
• Participate in high risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation.
• Collaborate closely with neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists, pediatric subspecialists, and other members of the care team.
• Provide consultations for pediatricians, surgeons, obstetricians.
• Supervise hospitalists.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital policies and evidence based neonatal care standards.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow up needs.
• Availability on-site within 30 minutes, when on-call, for clinical duties.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an ACGME accredited Neonatal Perinatal Medicine fellowship
• Board certified or board eligible in Neonatal Perinatal Medicine within two (2) years of onset of employment
• Valid New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• DEA & NJ CDS registrations
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to compassionate care

Englewood Health offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, comprehensive benefits package, and other incentive programs for our employees. The rate shown reflects the minimum compensation; actual compensation considers specialty, relevant experience and training.
Minimum compensation: $125.00 per hour
