About the Role

Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physician Assistant (PA) for join us in the Emergency Department at Bergen New Bridge M.C. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment delivering high-quality acute care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history and physical examinations
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions in the Emergency Department
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with attending physicians
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, and other emergency interventions
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in the EMR
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current New Jersey PA license
• NCCPA certification required
• BLS, ACLS (PALS preferred)
• Prior Emergency Medicine experience preferred, new graduates with strong clinical rotations considered
• Strong clinical judgment, multitasking ability, and excellent communication skills
