About the Role

Exceptional opportuntity for eager physician to be a part of a growing hospital employed program. The Hospitalist is responsible for accepting patients from ED and/or via direct admission that are admitted to service. Responsibilities include admission, transfer, follow up, treatment and discharge of patients on service. Average census of 12-16 for 10 hour day shifts. Active participation in multidisciplinary rounds and discharge planning team is expected. Block scheduling 7 on – 7 off, facilitates work life balance. No procedures necessary but ACLS, BLS is required. Closed ICU with 24/7 intensivist coverage.

UMCPP is located strategically in the heart of central Jersey. Close to both Newark and Philadelphia airports. Both New York City and Philadelhia close for best in Dining and entertainment. University town is flanked by large parks and orchards. School system is best in NJ.
