About the Role

Location: New Jersey
Schedule: 7 on / 7 off rotation 24-hour coverage
Setting: Hospital-based acute care Level 2 Trauma Center
EMR: Cerner
Onsite Lab & Imaging Available

Position Overview:

Join a high-acuity hospital setting as a GI locum providing full-spectrum inpatient and clinical GI services. This opportunity is ideal for a physician skilled in advanced procedures including ERCP & EUS.

You ll alternate coverage weekly with another provider across two campuses, maintaining consistent patient care while enjoying downtime during off weeks.

What You ll Handle:

️ clinic patients/day 5 inpatient consults/day
️ ERCP & EUS required
️ PEG, colonoscopy, upper/lower endoscopy
️ Variceal banding, biopsies, GI bleeder control
️ Small bowel biopsy, esophageal manometry, sigmoidoscopy

You ll Need:

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology REQUIRED

• NJ Medical License Preferred (or willingness to obtain)

• Advanced GI procedure experience ERCP & EUS REQUIRED

• Comfort working in a Level 2 trauma center

• Cerner EMR experience Preferred
