Position Overview

A leading hospital in coastal New Jersey is seeking a skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologist to provide locum coverage while recruiting for a permanent provider. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider interested in high-acuity cardiac work with flexible scheduling options and competitive compensation.
Setting: Hospital-Based Level II Trauma Center
Start Date: The site needs a provider to be available March 1- July 31 – Either 8 hour or 12-hour shifts starting at 7am- weekend and night call required.
Type: Locum or Locum-to-Perm
EMR: Cerner

Schedule & Coverage

• Flexible scheduling based on OR needs

• 8-hour or 12-hour shifts starting at 7 AM

• Weekend and night call available but not required

• Call ratio TBD

Clinical Responsibilities

You will handle a broad mix of cardiac and advanced surgical anesthesia, including:

• General Adult Surgical Cases

• IV Regional & Plexus Blocks

• Open Heart Anesthesia

• Thoracic (Non Open Heart) & Complex Vascular

• Spinal & Regional Anesthesia

• Local Infiltration

• Ventilation Management
