Description
FPR Construction and Consulting LLC is looking for qualified, experienced, and energetic individuals to support with construction on upcoming telecommunication and landscaping projects within the NJ/PA/DE region. This position is currently a seasonal role with the potential for full-time employment based on performance. Some travel will be required at times with per diem and company provided room and board during construction. Potential candidates will be fulfilling support responsibilities with all aspects of civil and landscape construction from site safety setup to site completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Support crew lead in various tasks on residential and commercial sites in a safe and effective manner
• Assist with the installation and deployment of telecommunications equipment at ground level
• Utilization of proper tools and equipment in a safe manner to complete specific tasks
• Hand trenching of various depths up to 4′ where needed for subgrade utilities and ground rings
• Assist with installation of concrete and hardscape including preparation, layout, and finish work
• Loading, transportation, and unloading of materials to and from site as needed
• Site preparation and Safety setup
• Site housekeeping and cleanliness
• Maintain and follow all safety procedures and protocols in conjunction with OSHA regulation

Required Skills/Qualifications

• Must have a Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to get to a scheduled meeting point
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Previous experience in construction and/or skilled trade preferred, but not required. Willing to train.
• Occasional out of state travel for jobs (up to 25%)
• Ability and experience in utilization and operation of multiple hand and power tools
• Knowledge and experience of OSHA safety regulations and safe site practices
• Ability to work long hours when needed to see construction through to completion
• Must be able to properly and safely attach/detach a trailer from a motor vehicle
• Meet physical demands of hand digging, lifting items of at least 80lbs (bag of concrete), and climbing ladders, when necessary, throughout the workday
• Travel when needed within the tristate area for one week at a time
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation to get to a scheduled meeting point
• Must be willing to learn and handle constructive criticism

Compensation

• $20-25 per hour based on experience
• 40 Hour work week minimum
• Travel to and from work sites will be provided from scheduled meeting point
• Bonuses based on performance
• All safety training and certifications will be provided
• On the job training will be provided for candidates that are unfamiliar with specific scopes of work
