Position Overview

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care, conduct field assessments, and support tuberculosis (TB) prevention and treatment efforts. This role involves both clinical and community-based responsibilities, including patient education, diagnostic procedures, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Clinical Duties

• Assess patient health status in accordance with nursing standards
• Provide and document direct patient care following established care plans
• Communicate patient care plans with physicians and healthcare team members
• Monitor patient condition and ensure safety and quality care delivery
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies as prescribed
• Assist physicians during office visits and prepare exam rooms

Field Work & Public Health

• Conduct field visits for patient medical assessments
• Collect and document vital signs
• Administer TB testing (TST or IGRA)
• Perform TB interviews and contact investigations
• Ensure accurate documentation for follow-up, referrals, and case management

Diagnostics & Procedures

• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and venipuncture
• Maintain infection control standards
• Prepare and transport specimens safely

Documentation & Compliance

• Complete and submit NJDOH surveillance forms accurately and on time
• Maintain detailed and compliant patient records
• Follow all established clinical protocols and standards

Patient Education

• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Ability to perform clinical assessments and procedures independently
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Experience with patient education and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to work in both clinical and field environments

Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.00 per hour
