About the Role

Growing Commercial Door Manufacturing company is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment used in the door manufacturing process. This role supports facility operations, ensures machinery uptime, and helps maintain a safe, efficient working environment. Equipment & Facility Maintenance: – Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment, CNC machinery, and facility systems. – Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment. – Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electronic issues and implement effective fixes. – Conduct repairs on faulty components, damaged structures, or broken equipment. Preventive Maintenance & Safety – Develop and follow preventive maintenance procedures to reduce downtime. – Maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems as needed. – Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols. – Fix potential safety hazards and help maintain a clean, safe working environment. Documentation & Inventory: -Keep accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections. – Manage and maintain spare parts and tools inventory. Emergency & Support – Respond quickly to urgent maintenance requests and machinery breakdowns. – Assist production staff with equipment-related issues. Requirements: – High school diploma or GED. – 2-3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. – Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. – Ability to read schematics, manuals, and blueprints. – Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred: – Experience with CNC machinery or woodworking production equipment – Familiarity with OSHA standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures. – HVAC or maintenance-related certifications. Work Environment: – Fast-paced manufacturing floor. – Requires ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work around equipment. – May require overtime or shift flexibility depending on production needs.
