The Dog Stop – Long Hill is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager with employee management, retail, and customer service experience. Knowledge of the dog care industry and a history of handling dogs is a plus but not required provided the candidate is capable of quickly learning the ins and outs of our services and our complete product line.

Ideal Candidate – will have a positive attitude, outgoing personality, dedication to providing an unparalleled experience for our clientele, and, of course, a love of dogs.

Responsibilities – will include but are not limited to:

Staff Management (hiring, firing, scheduling, guidance, accountability, etc.)

Superb Customer Service/Developing Customer Relationships

Providing Client Tours

Inventory Management (ordering, merchandising, distributor relations)

Budgeting (Supplies, Payroll, Utilities, etc.)

Dog Care and Safety

Manage and respond to App Requests and Internet Inquiries

Creating plans to meet all goals (retail sales, budget, etc.) set by Owners

Management of Client Database and Corresponding Filing
