Job Description: A hospital-employed private practice in South Jersey is actively seeking a licensed Gastroenterologist to join their growing team in Atlantic County. About the Opportunity:Schedule: Monday to FridayHours: Standard businessCall: 1:3 weeks via telephone onlySetting: 100% Outpatient. NO hospital work/weekend office hours/evening hours Responsibilities:Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and chronic diseases and conditions in the field of GastroenterologyPrescribing or administering medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injuryExplaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patientsMonitoring patients’ conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments, as necessaryProviding health and wellness advice to patients, including diet, physical activity, hygiene, and disease preventionMaintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test resultsReferring patients to other medical specialists, when necessaryProviding compassionate and empathetic support and advice to patients regarding their health concernsPreparing official health documents or records, when necessaryPerforming other related duties, as assigned Qualifications:Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New JerseyBoard Certified in Gastroenterology Your privacy is important to us.
