About the Role

An established health system is seeking a Heart Failure Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Morristown, New Jersey. This inpatient role offers the chance to provide heart failure consult coverage, procedural support, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary academic team.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with one weekend of call per month
• Hours: Standard business hours
• Setting: Inpatient

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient heart failure consult service
• Perform approximately one to two procedure days per week
• Manage approximately three to four consult days per week
• Participate in supervision and teaching of fellows
• Collaborate with the heart failure team and multidisciplinary support staff

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure
• Active New Jersey medical license
• Active CDS and DEA registration
• Experience working in an academic environment with fellows

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Epic electronic medical records
• Prior locum tenens experience
• Background in heart failure program leadership or team-based specialty care
