Hybrid Non-Invasive Cardiologist AtlantiCare Heart & Vascular Institute (NJ)

AtlantiCare Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our expanding cardiovascular program in southeastern New Jersey. This is a hybrid inpatient/outpatient opportunity based across our two-hospital system, including AtlantiCare Mainland Campus Hospital and AtlantiCare City Campus Hospital , supported by a growing regional outpatient network.

This role offers the opportunity to practice within a high-volume, high-acuity cardiac program with strong multidisciplinary support and an expanding academic environment, while maintaining a true coastal lifestyle within driving distance of Philadelphia.

Opportunity Highlights

• Hybrid clinical model: 1 week inpatient / 3 weeks outpatient
• Call schedule: 1:4 inpatient call with shared weekend coverage
• Two-hospital system coverage: Mainland Campus Hospital & City Campus Hospital
• Outpatient cardiology practice across multiple regional sites throughout Atlantic, Ocean, and Cape May counties
• High-volume cardiac program with advanced diagnostic and imaging capabilities
• Strong subspecialty collaboration: interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, heart failure, CT surgery, vascular surgery, and interventional pulmonary
• Dedicated inpatient and outpatient advanced practice provider (APP) support
• AI-assisted documentation tools and remote reading capabilities to support efficiency and work-life balance

Clinical Environment & Volume

• Robust, established cardiac program with approximately 3,000+ annual cath lab cases at the main campus
• Busy consult service across two hospital campuses
• Integrated cardiac imaging program (echocardiography and nuclear cardiology emphasis)
• Streamlined inpatient cardiology consult-based model with closed ICU support structure

Academic & Professional Growth

• Active Cardiology Fellowship Program within the health system
• Teaching opportunities with Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents
• Medical school affiliation in development, supporting long-term academic expansion
• Opportunity to shape protocols, imaging standards, and program growth within a rapidly expanding institute

Ideal Candidate

• MD/DO, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Strong interest and proficiency in non-invasive cardiology, including echocardiography and nuclear imaging
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure
• Interest in teaching, academic medicine, and program development
• Team-oriented physician comfortable in a high-volume, collaborative environment
