The Custom Woodworker will take on projects focusing on furniture making, cabinetry, and custom art pieces. Precision is essential when working with mixed materials including hardwoods, softwoods, laminate, veneers, and engineered wood products. The role involves interpreting designs, selecting appropriate materials, and utilizing a combination of manual and automated tools to assemble and finish quality woodworks. Occasional travel to job sites or client locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cut wood materials accurately following design specifications
• Interpret design plans and translate them into finished products
• Select suitable materials including various types of wood
• Assemble components using proper techniques
• Apply finishing treatments to enhance product appearance and durability
• Maintain and service woodworking tools and equipment
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure precision and craftsmanship
• Fabricate custom wood pieces tailored to client requirements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in woodworking
