Endocrinologist opening in NJ – near ManhattanLocated in Bayonne, NJ10 miles to ManhattanEndocrinologist opening in Bayonne, NJ (Permanent)This is a permanent position.Dates: OngoingOpportunity Details:Outpatient-only Endocrinology position with a well-established, high-volume practicePreferred primary location in Bayonne with additional coverage in Lyndhurst and CliftonJoin a collaborative team of 3 Endocrinologists and 3 Advanced Practice ProvidersFlexible scheduling options with 4-day or 5-day workweek configurationsFull-time preferred (40 clinical hours/week); part-time options available ( 32 hours/week)Telehealth component available (approximately 15-20%)Schedule Options:Option A: 5 days/week plus 1 Saturday per month (8:00 AM – 1:00 PM)Option B: 4 days/week with extended clinic hours plus 1 Saturday per monthClinic hours range Monday-Friday between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM depending on dayPatient Volume & Workflow:22-25 patients per 8-hour clinic dayNew patient visits: 30 minutesFollow-up visits: 15 minutesStrong continuity of care with patients typically assigned to one provider30-40% of consults are internal referrals with existing records in EMRClinical Support & Resources:Dedicated Medical Assistants assigned to each provider for full clinic supportMAs assist with triage, vitals, glucose checks, CGM uploads, and patient coordinationPrior authorizations handled by support staffAccess to Registered Dietitians and Certified Diabetes EducatorsIn-house radiology and ultrasound servicesOn-site lab services availableSupport for insulin pumps and CGMs including training and device integrationTranslation services availableTechnology:Epic EMR with robust endocrinology-specific templates, order sets, and workflowsCall & Additional Details:Minimal call requirement (approximately 4 call assignments per year)Call is after-hours for a 2-week period with very low volume (0-8 calls per cycle)Group meetings held twice per yearRequirements:MD or DOBoard Certified or Board Eligible in EndocrinologyEligible for New Jersey medical licensureCompensation & Benefits:Competitive compensation package based on experienceFull benefits packageFlexible scheduling supporting work-life balanceStrong clinical support infrastructure to maximize efficiencyLocation:Bayonne, NJ offers convenient access to New York City while maintaining a community-oriented environmentClose proximity to Newark, Jersey City, and Manhattan (within 20-30 miles)Diverse community with excellent dining, transportation, and urban amenities
