About the Role

Seeking an NP or PA for locum coverage in an OB/GYN hospital setting. This role involves providing comprehensive women s health care across labor & delivery, postpartum, surgical, and emergency consult services while working alongside an OB Attending and CNM.

Key Responsibilities:

Labor & Delivery & Postpartum Care:
Provide coverage for L&D and postpartum patients in a hospital-based setting, supporting deliveries and ongoing maternal care.

GYN Surgical Support:
Assist in gynecologic procedures; APNs must have first assist experience and provide case logs.

OB/GYN ED Consults:
Evaluate and manage OB/GYN-related emergency department consults in collaboration with the care team.

Collaborative Care:
Work closely with OB Attending physicians and CNMs each shift to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.

Schedule & Work Environment:

• 12-hour or 24-hour shifts available
• 24/7 coverage model (Monday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM)
• No call responsibilities
• Patient volume: Variable/unpredictable
• Support staff available

Qualifications:

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• APNs must have First Assist certification with case logs
• New Jersey license preferred
• Relevant OB/GYN experience required
