A well established orthopedic group with offices across Queens, Brooklyn, and Englewood (NJ) is seeking a Sports Medicine-trained Orthopedic Surgeon to replace a departing physician. This is a high volume environment with flexibility to build a balanced sports practice covering upper and lower extremities.

Job Function:

• Open to candidates wanting NY only, NJ only, or a combination
• Sports Medicine background strongly preferred
• Scope includes upper and lower extremity sports; not looking for shoulder only
• Patient mix: 50% workers’ comp / 50% private
• Former surgeon was in-office 4 days/week + 1 OR day, and could have done more OR volume
• Englewood: has its own office + access to Surgery Center, + 2 hospitals where will receive privileges
• NYC (Queens/Brooklyn): busy, “plug and play” volumes with immediate demand
• PA support available in the OR; office PA/APP support is optional based on surgeon preference
• EMR: eClinicalWorks (eCW)

Job Requirements:

• Board certified or board eligible Orthopedic Surgeon
• Sports Medicine fellowship strongly preferred
• Comfort with upper and lower extremity sports cases
• Ability to manage high volume clinic days
• Willingness to work across multiple sites (NY and/or NJ)
• Strong surgical skillset; ability to scale OR volume
• Team oriented; comfort working with extenders in OR and optionally in clinic
