About the Role

DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Surgeon to join our team in providing exceptional surgical care to patients in various locations in the state of New Jersey.

Job Description:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients requiring surgical intervention for a wide range of conditions.
• Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including open and minimally invasive surgeries.
• Manage pre- and post-operative care, including patient education and follow-up.
• Handle emergency surgical situations, including trauma surgery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in surgical techniques and technologies through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Valid medical license in New Jersey State
• Extensive experience in performing a variety of surgical procedures
• Proficiency in minimally invasive surgical techniques
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in high-stress situations
