Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating and assessing oncology patients, formulating individualized plans of care
- Collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care
- Documenting nursing care accurately per patient acuity and practice standards
- Prioritizing care using assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation frameworks
- Performing therapeutic interventions and managing patient care delivery
- Advocating for evidence-based practices and quality improvements in nursing care
- Maintaining a patient-centric focus in alignment with professional nursing models
- Demonstrating adaptability and innovation in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Undertaking additional relevant duties as assigned
Desired skills and qualifications:
- Active RN license
- BSN preferred; Associate’s degree considered with relevant experience
- Minimum one year of recent oncology or med-surg nursing experience
- BLS/CPR certification required; Oncology certification strongly preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic interventions and patient management
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
